TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE
Payment Terms: Standard Payment terms are Wire Transfer, Credit Card, Cash, Checks, or PayPal. CST will charge the client’s payment for any
products purchased and for any additional amount (including shipping & handling, tax, late fees, interest charges etc as applicable) that may be
accrued by or in connection with their account with CST. All shipping, handling, labor and service fees are non-refundable. No orders will be
shipped to past due accounts. Payments, unless otherwise approved net terms, shall be due upon delivery of products. CST offers 30-day money
back guarantee. All sales are final after 30 days.
Orders and Cancellations: Accounts may place purchase orders by telephone, fax or e-mail. Once an order has been placed, the customer is bound
to this agreement. Orders placed with an amount less than $50.00 may be subject to a $3.00 handling fee. If any portion of the order is cancelled
after shipping, the customer shall pay all shipping and handling fees incurred, plus a 20% restock fee. Special Orders and/or Custom Products are
non-returnable. Closeout, clearance, discontinued and refurbished sales are final, absolutely no return, exchange or refunds will be accepted.
Net Terms: Credit terms will be determined by CST based on credit check by a third party and are subject to management approval. You will be
notified soon after a decision is made. You hereby consent to CST obtaining information about you personally and your business from credit
reporting agencies and other sources CST deems appropriate in considering this application and subsequently for purposes of updates, renewals, or
extensions of credit granted as a result of this application or in reviewing or collections of your account.
Price Protection: Pricing is subject to change at any time. CST does not provide price protection or refunds in the event of a price reduction or
promotional offering. Any price quotes that are sent by a CST representative will be valid up to 15 days of the offering or while supplies last.
Taxes and Fees: You agree to provide CST with a valid and correct tax exemption certificate applicable to the product ship-to location prior to
acceptance by CST of any order and to indemnify CST against liability for any and all sales or other similar taxes designed, associated with any
order. Checks that are unpaid due to insufficient funds, stop payment, or other reasons shall be subject to a twenty-five-dollar ($25) processing fee.
Late payment shall result in a fifty-dollar ($50) late fee in addition to an interest charge of one and a half percent (1.5%) (or the highest rate
allowed by law, if less) per each calendar month for which payment or partial payment remains due. CST reserves the right to declare all invoice
amounts due and payable without notice and shall have the right to charge any outstanding balance and finance fee, if applicable. CST, at our
discretion, will apply a 20% restocking fee to returns with missing parts, visible wear and tear, signs of usage, other cosmetic damages, or at the
discretion of CST. See Returns (Below) for more information. Shipping & handling costs (includes transaction fee) are non-refundable.
Return Policy Within 30 Days: Within 30 days of purchase, CST accept Returns, Store Credit and Refund. You need coordinate returns with your
CST representative before returning any products. Return of non-defective products must be in brand new and resalable condition and must
include all original packaging along with the accessories. CST reserves the right to refuse incomplete or damaged returns. At CST’s discretion,
returns, credits, or refunds will take 2 to 5 business days to be processed. After 30 days after the purchase, no returns for credit/ refund will be
accepted by CST. (See LIMITED WARRANTY below for more details)
Warranty Coverage: CST warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for the period(s) and product(s) specified herein. If a
defect exists, at the discretion of CST will (1) repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, OR (2) replace the
product with a product that is new or which is manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the
original product, OR (3) issue a store credit, at the defective product’s original purchase price or current market value whichever is lower, if the
model or any suitable substitution is unavailable or discontinued. A replacement product/part assumes the remaining warranty of the original
product. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes CST’ property. When
a store credit is given, your product becomes CST’ property.
The limited warranty also does not cover any losses or damages that may occur as a result of (See RMA Policy below for more details):
- Shipping or improper installation or maintenance.
- Misuse, neglect or improper environment.
- Any repair, modification, adjustment, or installation of options/parts by anyone other than a CST authorized service center,
excessive/inadequate electrical power surges or other irregularities.
NVRs/DVRs: For a period of three (3) years from the date of original purchase on all recorders (DVRs and NVRs), including the hard drives installed
by CST during initial system configuration.
CAMERAS: For a period of three (3) years from the date of original purchase on all non-PTZ cameras and two (2) years on all PTZ cameras.
ACCESSORIES: For a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase on all testers and controllers, and a period of thirty (30) days on all
the other accessories.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy:
No merchandise may be returned without prior written authorization. Please consult our technical support staff prior to requesting a Return
Merchandise Authorization Number. All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a copy of the Approved RMA Form, original invoice and
RMA Number clearly written on the mailing label and on the outside of the box. Returns without a properly filled RMA Form attached to the
packaging will be rejected and back to the shipper.All returns must be shipped prepaid. All repaired products or replacement for defective RMA
items will be shipped to client by ground service only. The cost of any expedited shipping option will be the client’s expense.
Advanced replacement service can only be processed with a replacement order fully paid, at the original sale price, by ground shipping. Refund
including replacement ground shipping cost from CST, will be issued upon receipt of the defective product within 15 calendar days after the
issuance of an RMA number. If the defective product is not returned in time, the replacement order will be final as regular purchase and the
defective product will, once again, be subjected to standard warranty procedure.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy: Free Ground shipping will be arranged at CST’ expense for all products determined by CST’ Technical Support Team
to be DOA within 10 business days after delivery by CST. If a product is deemed defective more than 10 business days after CST delivery, or deemed
NOT to be DOA, CST’ standard product warranty will apply. DOA return labels cover only DOA items. No other item may be shipped back with the
DOA label or the excess shipping charge plus a $25 handling fee will be posted to the client’s account. CST reserves the right to test returned DOA
product(s). If the condition of the product is misrepresented by the client, CST may impose a $50 handling fee.
Note: Before you deliver your product for warranty service it is your responsibility to keep a separate backup copy of the system software,
application software, and data. Data recovery is not included in the warranty service and CST is not responsible for data that may be lost or
damaged during transit, repair, or replacement. CST will not install or reinstall any software that is not of the original system configuration.
Exclusions and Limitations:
CST is not liable for any damage to or loss of any programs, data, or other information stored later by the user on the DVR, NVR, CAMERA, or
ACCESSORIES. Recovery and reinstallation of such programs and user data are not covered under this Limited Warranty.
This Limited Warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by accident, negligence, mishandling, misuse, abuse, or products not supplied by CST;
(b) to damage caused by faulty installation, misconfiguration, misapplication, improper operation, alteration, modification without written
permission of CST, or service performed by anyone other than CST authorized personnel; (c) to damage caused by a power surge, improper voltage
supply, lightning strike, flood, earthquake, or damage that is attributable to natural disasters; (d) if the CST serial number has been removed or
defaced; (e) to misapplications in other environments and/or use with non CST products, (f) to customized products that have been branded.
In no case shall CST, its directors, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential
damages arising from the use of any CST product, or any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited
to lost profits, lost of contracts, downtime, goodwill, damage to or replacement of equipment and property, any costs of recovering,
reprogramming, or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with CST products, and any failure to maintain the confidentiality of data
stored on the product CST specifically does not represent that it will be able to repair any product under this warranty or make a product exchange
without risk to or loss of programs or data.
CST does not guarantee, represent, or warrant that the use of its product or service will be free from interruption, error, loss, corruption, attack,
viruses, interference, hacking, or other security intrusion, and CST disclaims any liability relating thereto. CST specifically disclaims any and all
implied warranties, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. If CST cannot, in some states or
jurisdictions, lawfully claim limitation of liability or disclaim implied warranties under this limited warranty, all such warranties are limited in
duration to the duration of this warranty and CST liability shall be limited to the extent permitted by law.
no CST reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.
